With the Butterfield Bermuda Championship in the rearview mirror, we look forward to this week’s World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. For the 16th straight year, El Camaleon Golf Course at the Mayakoba Resort will host this event.
Looking at the top of previous leaderboards, the metrics that predict the most success at this course include SG: Putting and Greens in Regulation percentage (GIR%). A par 71, 7,034-yard track, El Camaleon is a course that rewards those who can get off the greens quickly.
Below, I will give out my two best longshot bets to win the 2022 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba.
