Coming out of the Presidents Cup, the PGA Tour will resume its regular schedule this week with the 2022 Sanderson Farms Championship. It’ll once again be held at the Country Club of Jackson in Mississippi, the ninth time the club is hosting this event.

Two Presidents Cup participants will be in the field this week, led by betting favorite Sam Burns. Christiaan Bezuidenhout will also be teeing it up after playing for the International team at Quail Hollow last week. As of last week, Burns ranked 23rd in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, the highest of any player in the field at the Sanderson Farms Championship.
The CC of Jackson is a slightly longer course at 7,461 yards and it plays as a par 72. Burns won here last year, capping off his week with a 5-under 67 on Sunday. The 72-hole scoring record in this event is held by Dan Halldorson (263 in 1986), but Burns came close to beating it (266) last year.
