The Presidents Cup will tee off Thursday from Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC for what will be the 14th edition of the tournament.' Unlike PGA Tour events and other major tournaments, all proceeds of this will go towards charities of each team’s choice, as well as bragging rights.
As far as the format, the Presidents Cup is a four-day competition, just like the Ryder Cup. On Thursday, there will be five “Foursome” matches, and on Friday, there will be five “Four-ball” matches. Four “Foursome” matches take place on Saturday morning, while four “Four-ball” matches occur in the afternoon. On Sunday, 12 singles matches will conclude the event. With a total of 30 games and one point for each game, winning the Cup requires 15.5 points.
