Pre-tournament favorite Scottie Scheffler (+550 before the opening round) is tied for 25th place at 3-under after rounds of 70-66-71. The Texas native, who finished 2nd last year, could have taken over as No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings with a win.

Defending champ Jason Kokrak, who shot 10-under 270 to win by 2 strokes over Scheffler, defected for LIV Golf and was not in this year’s field.
