2022-23 New College Football Playoff Odds: Which Schools are Favored to Win Through Week 2

Were two weeks into the College Football season and while the Top 3 teams remained the same, we had some a major shakeup in the Top 10 with a pair of teams losing. Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State still remain the top 3 favorites to win the make the College Football Playoff and win the National Championship.

Thanks to home losses to unranked Marshall & Appalachian State, Notre Dame & Texas A&M saw their odds get incredibly longer. Michigan and USC saw their odds shorten long with Tennessee, while Clemson also remained the 4th favorite. This week’s slate looks a little lighter, but it’s often weeks like this that see the biggest upsets.

For the first time this season, Alabama no longer has the shortest odds to win the National Championship. After a narrow 20-19 win at Texas while #1 Georgia beat Samford 33-0, the odds shifted depending where you look. Prior to Week 2, Alabama was the unanimous favorite to win it all, while now depending on where you look the Georgia Bulldogs own the shortest odds. After an easy win at home over Arkansas State, the Ohio State Buckeyes sit comfortably as the 3rd favorite.
