The legal troubles of breakout star Miles Bridges loom large over the 2022-23 Charlotte Hornets season. He faces felony charges and could receive jail time which clearly sets the Hornets back entering the season.

The Hornets will need LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier to pick up the scoring slack. After a 43-38 regular season, the Hornets were eliminated in a 132-103 play-in game loss to the Atlanta Hawks. It was the second straight season it took only one play-in game loss to finish the Hornets’ season.
